CornerView – wine

by Li+Belle

The end of June we made a trip to one of the wine regions of Germany.
One of the few vineyards here in Bavaria: the Franconian countryside.
We visited a friend and her family.
It was a great time.
We hadn’t only relaxed, we shot also a lot of new photos.
An all-round great  trip with good food, sightseeing and strolling in Wurzburg,
short hikes through the vineyards and to a ruin, evening stroll through the picturesque Karlstadt,
where just guested a culinary mile with delicacies and a great cocktail bar.

If you are traveling in the vineyards, then there exists wonderfully relaxing tranquility,
only broken by the hum and drone of bees and bumble bees,
the chirping of birds and the occasional chugging of a tractor.
There were few people on the go ( it was very hot these days ),
so that we could enjoy a great view of the area.

  2. vineyards? oh, yes, my kind of landscape and crop :)

  3. Beautifull! I would love to walk around and explore a place like this one!

  4. What a beautiful place! We have a growing number of vineyards in our state but they do not have the beautiful rolling countryside that you captured in your photos. What several of them have done though is to set up a venue and have bands come perform music during the summer evenings. It’s really quite a lovely way to spend an evening.

  5. Very nice to discover the German vineyards ! This is really a beautiful place. How is this wine?

  10. oh, gosh, it’s always so weird when I see photos of home on someone else’s blog. or anywhere online, really. it’s so hard to imagine that someone might see something in the things you are so used to. that said, not having lived there in ages, I now know how blessed I was growing up there :) thanks for a quick trip home!
